Quick Overview

one of the rarest, and best , Canadian psych funk jazzy soundtracks... a must! Top like new copy, hence the price....now impossible to find a copy like this... This ultra rare English version of the soundtrack from the cult Quebec soft-core film saw only very limited distribution and sales........(every one of the handful of copies I've seen in the last several years have either cut-outs or library inventory stickers). "Love In a 4 Letter World" is slightly different from the French release (the 2 tracks with vocals are sung here by Ronney Abramson, whereas on the French album they're sung by Charles Linton & Louise Lemire).   The more common (though still rare) French language version of this film (and soundtrack) was released in Quebec as "Viens Mon Amour".   Mostly instrumental .....with brilliant funky tracks like “Cago 9” and “Cut-Out” that have drum breaks that will knock you out,  and a killer fuzz/freakbeat monster called "Harizap".      Another standout is the wild tripped-out  moog-led funky psych jam “Moog-Over”.....Then there's a couple of great bossa nova groovers (“Felicia-Nova” and "Susan's Ride") and two excellent soft rock cuts with some vocals ("Vera's Theme" & "Counting Up Dreams").Easily, one of the best (and rarest) Quebec/Canadian soundtracks.... loads of fuzz, funk, samples and breaks......and absolutely amazing front cover art depicting a "stoned, acid filled, free-love atmosphere".....Top Recommendation !
